The Crossarm is used to carry the four low-voltage lines, which is the angle iron mentioned above. There are insulators on it, which are used to bind the four low-voltage lines to prevent short-circuit between phases.
Straight line Crossarm: only consider the vertical load and horizontal load of the wire under the normal unbroken condition;
Tensile Crossarm: In addition to bearing the vertical and horizontal loads of the wire, it will also bear the tensile force difference of the wire;
Corner Crossarm: In addition to bearing the vertical and horizontal loads of the wire, it will also bear a large single-sided wire pulling force.
According to the force of the crossarm, single crossarm is used for straight rods or corner rods below 15 degrees, and double crossarms are used for corner rods, tensile rods, terminal rods, and branch rods with a rotation angle of more than 15 degrees. (Double Crossarm is used for poles in some areas)
The crossarm is generally installed at 300mm from the top of the pole. The straight crossarm should be installed on the power receiving side, and the crossarm of the corner pole, terminal pole and branch pole should be installed on the cable side.
